Botanical Ink Studies
In my artistic practice, I utilize foraged, grown, and recycled plants to create an array of inks for painting, drawing, and printmaking while adhering to low-waste, non-chemical, and regenerative practices. By forgoing reliance on synthetic materials such as plastic, petroleum, or chemical-based art supplies, we can turn to nature's abundant offerings to discover a spectrum of colors and artistic tools. Furthermore, these natural materials can be returned to the Earth after use, ensuring minimal disruption to our interspecies communities.
